The Roanoke Camp is designed to give fast pitch players at all levels an opportunity to learn the proper techniques of batting, fielding, pitching and catching so as to help them gain a competitive edge in today's fast pitch softball programs. Instruction is geared toward each player's individual skill level allowing each player to learn the fundamentals and more complicated techniques.

Participants receive instruction from Roanoke College Head Softball Coach Mike Mitchell and his staff (David Mays, Chris Lauria and Rachel Gwilliams) as well as current and former players.

Participants are required to bring their own bat to ensure that they are hitting with the correct size bat. They should also bring their gloves, helmets, and tennis shoes.

Prospect Camp is designed for girls interested in playing college softball. Players will be assessed by coaching staff and participate in college level drills and workout.

Saturday, 1/27/23 10u & up

Session I 9:00-12:00 – Hitting & Defense

Session II 1:00-3:00 – Pitching & Catching (14u and up for Pitching)

Session III 3:00-6:00 – Hitting & Defense

Sunday, 1/28/23 14u & up

Session IV 9:00-12:00 –Prospect Camp
